Requisition of Vehicles
It appears that larger vehicles (= higher hire charges) are being attempted to be requisitioned by the various offices. Please refrain from doing so. We should curtail expenditure as much as possible. So unless absolutely essential on certain days please stick to the small - sized vehicles. Expenditure would be watched very closely from our end.
Deadlines etc.
Dear All,
Following up on yesterday's meetings, I just wanted to stress on the following points:-
1. Vulnerability & Criticality Report: The BDOs will sit with the O/Cs and get the reports prepared within Thursday (26th) and have the same sent to the SDO who will sit with the SDPO on Friday (27th). The report should be sent to the District by late Friday evening.
2. Separation of Voters in Auxiliary PS: Hopefully all have already sent in the list of Auxiliary Polling Stations with the break up in the Sl Number of voters for the Main and Auxiliary Polling Stations.
3. PIN Checking: We are taking up the PIN exercise on a war footing. Pls remember the CEO is going to have a dry run on the 1st of April. SDOs and BDOs are to arrange for the 100% verification of the contact persons available within their jurisdiction. Where there are none, the Sector Officers are to find suitable persons based on the following criteria: apolitical, dependable and living in the vicinity of the polling station...the person should not have to walk 5 minutes to get there. As far as possible, the person should be able to see the Polling Station from her/his house itself. It would be better to have no person than to have a person with known loyalties. The Sector Officers would have to think of creative ideas on how to get the information of these Polling Stations.
4. Activation of Sectors: This should be done immediately!
5. MCC Wall Writing: Regarding MCC, it appears that there are variable dates being given to different offenders for removal of graffiti. Pls remember, Government = 24 hours failing which FIR ; Non Government = 3 days failing which FIR. In Panchayat areas, land included. Action should be taken accordingly.
6. MCC Reporting: O/Cs in charge of MCC in Sub Divisions, please note that the daily report proforma shared is filled up appropriately and sent to us latest by 7pm every evening. BDOs may take necessary trouble to ensure that they are also filling up the proforma properly at their levels to ensure correct reporting by the Sub Divisions.
